Who says you can’t use a tent in the winter. A couple of weeks ago we tented the Jack Frost Dinner for the 5th Annual New London Winter Carnival. Two large, heated tents kept attendees warm while they enjoyed local cuisine and music. The Carnival continued on Sunday with a ski joring event hosted by the North East Ski Joring Association (NESJA). If you’ve never seen ski joring, the skier is pulled by a horse through an obstacle course and scored based on time and maneuvers.
